This mixed media series is an exploration of creative ideas, techniques and materials in a new way for me. Creating this series of ten pieces has been a uniquely joyful experience as an artist.
This first piece in the series is titled “Celebration”. It felt like celebration to experiment with this grid of colors that evoke summer sun, fruits, and water.
The original signed 8” x 8” artwork is created on 300 GSM/140 lb. 100% cotton handmade cold press watercolor paper using watercolor, pen, and chalk pencils.
