Zentangle® Classes
The Zentangle® method is an easy to learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.
Zentangle art is non-representational and unplanned so you can focus on each stroke and not worry about the result. As you use the Zentangle method to create beautiful images, you likely will enjoy increased focus, creativity, self-confidence and an increased sense of well-being.
I love teaching the Zentangle drawing method and would love to have you join me for a class. Upcoming classes are listed below.

Taking a class with a Certified Zentangle Teacher is the best way to get the full understanding and benefit of the gifts of the Zentangle way of creating. Schedule your one-on-one intro session with me now!
The Zentangle® Method is “an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.” Created by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas in 2004, it has grown as a creative practice that has spread around the whole world.
As a Certified Zentangle Instructor, I offer this introduction to the Eight Basic Steps of the Zentangle method of drawing that helps create focus, calm and relaxation. Anyone who can hold a pen and make the five simple marks that make up every Zentangle pattern can do this mindful drawing practice. It focuses on gratitude and appreciation, mindfulness, and presence in the moment - and it’s fun! Join me in learning a new way to tap into your own creativity.
We will meet via ZOOM at a mutually agreed upon time. You’ll learn the steps of the Zentangle® drawing method, and practice several tangle patterns as you create your first tile. I’ll also share resources and suggestions for further exploration. Plan for a 90-minute session.
I have taught people from age 8 to 88, and if you can write your name you can do this. I love to share this life-changing practice with you and I’m delighted when others begin to experience the benefits too!
There are two registration options:
Class only ($28): This option requires that you provide your own materials. You can begin with tools that you probably already have: black pen, pencil, blending tool (could be a Q-tip or make-up blending tool); and 3.5” square piece of paper.
